@ZombaSalvatore I used to play with tap jump too but I turned it off for the sole reason of being able to ledge trump with cloud up b. And overall it's better for characters w bad recovery just so you can up b without risking burning your double jump

real question as somebody who plays only with tap jump how do people play without it like... i feel like the movement is so less intentional and stiff............ highkey tap jump clears no tap jump

49th in the world 🌎 In 2024, I stopped attending after Genesis in February because I felt no urge to play and mentally I was really struggling with smash after an underwhelming 2nd half of 2023. 2025, I came back to prove to myself that I can still be playing at a top level with the best players. To be apart of this list now, means everything to me. Although there is still more catching up I need to do, i’m ready to take my gameplay to the next level again. I will push for even higher next time!

Fox has gotta be the most overrated good character in Ultimate, and definitely the least gimmicky Every time I watch Light play I swear he has to outplay the opponent like 20x more than vice versa just to take a stock LMAO I know Fox is insane on stage vs opponents at low %, but he pretty much can’t go offstage to edge guard (though his ledge trapping is insane). Doesn’t have a reliable 2frame option either. Can struggle to kill especially if back air is stale. Can get setups into kills (tech chase, parry) but they require having a reaction time MUCH faster than other chars require. Range sucks but speed mostly makes up for it. Recovery is one of the most exploitable in the game. Fox being one of the lightest weight chars means that when he doesn’t get blast zoned, he gets knocked offstage I think if Ult players knew how to edge guard Fox then people would realize how glaring his weaknesses are You’ll have 100 people in your ear telling you how Fox is a top 5 character meanwhile no one else is good with him LOL As someone who used to win tourneys with Fox in Ultimate a long time ago, I respect the struggle🫡 @Light_S21
