@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo The only thing Rodgers is the “goat” at is the deep ball. Brees was the league leader in deep pass attempts several times during his prime. You should learn ball.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo Rodgers had a stronger arm, so he threw farther more often. When Brees was in his prime and hadn’t thrown out his shoulder, a ridiculously high % of his throws were deep balls — approximately 49%. In fact, in those years, he routinely led the NFL in deep balls.
Rodgers through more of them, around 10% of Brees’ career attempts vs like 15% for Rodgers. Obviously his completion percentage, something once again I have already indicated I dont care about, will be lower. Yet he had a significantly better passer rating and a higher cpoe on those passes. Brees only threw them to guys who were wide open and not very often. Rodgers passes made his guys open. Jus because Brees wasn’t willing or able to take the chances Rodgers was doesn’t make him more accurate lmfao
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo You must have completely missed the part where I explained how he still has a top 3 all-time completion % when it comes to passes of 20+ yards through the air. I guess every QB other than Rodgers stat pads their completion percentage by your logic? 😂😂😂
It isn’t at all invalid due the fact that he didn’t throw deep anywhere near as often as Rodgers, despite having like 2k more passing attempts in his career. He padded his completion percentage on short passes and everyone knows it. I’m not even saying theres anything wrong with that, I’m just saying thats why completion percentage is shit indicator of how accurate a qb is that only a box score watcher would use
@cb_doge That dream will never come true
No one will ever live in space
God was not stupidly for making humanity live on earth. People be trying to be above God but unfortunately it’ll never happen!
ELON MUSK: Earth is Tiny. The Future is Space.
Human civilization uses only a tiny fraction of the Sun’s energy. Even if humanity used a million times more energy, it would still be extremely small compared to the Sun’s power.
The Sun dominates the solar system, holding around 99.8% of its total mass.
Everything outside the Sun is almost insignificant when measured against the Sun’s scale and energy.
Earth-based civilization has a natural limit because our planet’s resources are small compared to what exists in space.
To grow civilization in a truly meaningful way, humanity has to expand beyond Earth.
Space is not optional for long-term growth — it is the next step for civilization.
@Aarvoll_@elonmusk Alternatively, similarly to how we treat unreached civilizations on our own planet, perhaps some kind of galactic federation does exist and they see us in a similar light.
The Fermi paradox has an anthropic solution. If the earliest advanced civilization to arise in a galaxy tends to quickly colonize all the habitable planets in their galaxy, then we wouldn't find ourselves in a galaxy with other, older, advanced life even if life was relatively common and most galaxies had intelligent life.
An analogy: the vast majority of planets aren't conducive to life, and yet we find ourselves on one of the few planets that are, not by chance, but by the anthropic principle.
So similarly, the vast majority of galaxies may not be conducive to an up and coming, newly spacefaring civilization (because older spacefaring civilizations just colonize everything as soon as they arise), and yet we'll be sure to find ourselves in one of the few galaxies where we have room to exist and grow, not by chance, but by the anthropic principle.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo Rodgers has the most accurate “ultra deep ball” when it comes to passes 30+ yards through the air, but again.. a “deep ball” in the NFL is defined as a ball that travels 20+ yards through the air. Arguing that Brees has padded completion % numbers is invalid due to this fact.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo Drew Brees has the 3rd highest “deep ball” completion percentage (46.5%) in NFL history. A “deep ball” in the NFL is defined as a pass that travels 20+ yards through the air. Rodgers isn’t even top 3 in that category and falls in the 35-40% range.. he only wins at TD/INT ratio.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo Three quick Google searches say otherwise. I even literally searched for how many articles by analysts exist supporting each of the two QBs being the most accurate. Hope this helps, since you’re obviously dogshit at using Google.
@Nathaniel_Lyon4@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo I could find a billion articles written by sports analysts saying this, but probably only a handful saying it about Brees
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo Oh, and not to mention the fact that Brees is also below 6ft tall. So don’t talk to me about “completion percentage above expected”.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo You just straight up lied. Rodgers has a career CPOE of +2.3% whereas Brees has a career CPOE of +4.1% — currently, Burrow leads with a +4.4% career CPOE.. but again, he has approximately ~200 more games to play before he can be put into the same sample size as Brees.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo Once Joe Burrow plays 210 more games, if he still has a higher career completion % then absolutely yes, yes I will say that. Until then, no he is not. Sample size matters.
Drew has the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 9th most accurate passing seasons in NFL history. Try again.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo You don’t care about completion percentage? And you’re trying to debate who is more accurate?? 😂 holy fuck you’re serious
@Nathaniel_Lyon4@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo I have never once heard a sports analyst or read an article indicating that Drew Brees is more accurate than Aaron Rodgers based on anything other than his completion percentage, which I have already established I don’t care about
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo You should do a poll. Read some articles from sports analysts. Realize everyone other than you thinks Brees is more accurate lol
I mean Joe Burrow has the highest completion percentage of all time so by your logic is he the most accurate qb? Everyone knows that Rodgers is more accurate than Brees, in his prime he could make every single throw at every level of the field off of any platform with elite placement like no one else ever has. I don’t need to be a packers fan to see that. I’m not even a big rodgers fan, I think he was a choke artist, but he is multiple tiers above Brees as a QB.
@GoIdenBay@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo I mean, you seemingly eat, breathe, and shit 🧀 so I’m not surprised.
Good thing ball-knowers will say it’s Brees. The only thing Rodgers has him beat on when it comes to accuracy is the deep ball. In every other category regarding accuracy, Brees has him beat. Those are facts.
@Nathaniel_Lyon4@Solar4215@TomBradyEgo You even insinuating that Drew Brees is a more accurate QB than Aaron Rodgers was the moment I needed to stop arguing with you
