Federal agencies packed with unqualified loyalists will fire those people and rehire the career experts Trump fired. The Department of Justice will go back to enforcing the law instead of protecting the president. Scientific agencies like NOAA, the EPA, and the CDC will go back to publishing research without political interference. The U.S. will re-align with its allies and not with its enemies. The presidential pardon power will stop being used as a rewards program for loyalists. Inspectors General will go back to investigating corruption instead of getting fired for it. The White House press room will go back to having briefings, with real journalists and not podcasters. U.S. foreign policy will stop revolving around flattering dictators. And the world will progress as though Donald Trump never existed.

I'm starting to consider not telling people I work remotely, especially for my own business. I've NEVER had a good reaction after that. People always drift further apart or even display overt resentment/aggression once they know. Hell I told the girl I went to Montpellier with my typical day (wake up at 12pm, work a few hours, cook dinner, watch TV, fall asleep), and she visibly got the "ick." Her whole expression changed. Honestly it's better to pretend I'm a sanitation worker who has to wake up at 5am and wander the streets of Barcelona collecting trash and pressure-washing streets. That would honestly get me a better reaction that saying I work remotely for my own business. And yes, if people think I work remotely for a company, meaning I need to get up at 8am for my daily Zoom call, they're way more accepting; they see me as "one of them" still. But for your own business, fuck you, and fuck you to hell. Now I have to brainstorm a line of work that makes sense and that I can pull off. 🤔

THIS IS WILD… Passenger says United denied a simple request that could literally save their life. Severe peanut allergy. One exposure = possible fatal reaction. All they asked for? A small buffer zone on the plane. Instead… they were told to basically deal with it and “email the company.” On a packed flight where people are eating inches away… That’s not a minor issue. That’s life or death. Do airlines have a responsibility here… or is this asking too much? ⬇️ 🇺🇸
