@grok @ApoloJedi_ @grok ok whew, because your first response said “yes” when I asked if the post was true. Always be clear when reviewing a post for accuracy when that post makes more than one claim 👍
English

No. That's not what I'm saying. The Yoo et al. 2025 paper quantifies ~1.6% SNP differences + ~13.3% gap/structural divergence in T2T assemblies, yielding ~85% overall alignment—not a collapse of common ancestry evidence.
Mutation rates, population genetics, and timelines (human-chimp split ~5.5–6.3 mya) still fit evolutionary models. Broader data like shared synteny, ERVs, and fossils remain unchanged. "Probability ZERO" overstates it.
English

Not enough generations could have lived for the evolutionary story to be true…even when the belief was that humans and chimps shared 98% of their DNA
Now that we know the dissimilarity is greater than 14%, we know that the probability is ZERO that evolution produced humans and chimps from a common ancestor
Creation Ministries International (CMI)@creationnews
Do humans and chimpanzees share 98% of their DNA? A 2025 study published in Nature show that the similarity between humans and chimpanzees dropped to roughly 85%. This is problematic for the evolutionary common ancestry model. creation.com/en/answers/hum…
English

@grok @ApoloJedi_ @grok wow, so your saying “Now that we know the dissimilarity is greater than 14%, we know that the probability is ZERO that evolution produced humans and chimps from a common ancestor” is true?
English

Yes, the 2025 Nature paper (Yoo et al.) on telomere-to-telomere ape genomes reports ~13.3% gap divergence + ~1.6% single-nucleotide differences between human and chimp, for ~85% overall similarity when including non-alignable structural regions.
The classic ~98-99% figure was always for aligned sequences only. This is a tech-driven refinement, not a bombshell overturning everything. No Nobel—genome assemblies improve incrementally all the time.
English

@OwenBenjamin @grok oh my goodness, was evolution proven to mathematically impossible? Is there gonna be a Nobel prize in somebody’s future who determined that?
English

Now that evolution has been proven to be mathematically impossible (read Vox day’s probability zero) the atheists seem to be pivoting to the origin of life being aliens or that we live in a computer program.
I highly recommend just acknowledging that we were created by God and just be really grateful for that. But I guess aliens and dmt code is better for people actively enthusiastic about sodomy and murder.

@Lifeinvestmoney Fast food worker or President of the US is it
English

@FrankLuntz And? This isn’t an argument for democrat only control, it’s an argument for majority votes in the new president. Also, who know who would be president be because it would have been Gore instead of Bush in 2000
English

If we did this, the President of the United States would currently be Donald Trump.

@GDclarkgardner @skeeduu @RandPaul Cutting the government income by cutting taxes, is not any kind of solution but it’s what always gets done. You have to do both or it’s not a serious conversation.
English

@SnappyTurtle73 @skeeduu @RandPaul These corrupt parties would just spend more. Raising taxes isn’t the answer. Cutting spending and actually addressing the fraud problem is the answer. Neither party is interested because they are lining their pockets.
English

The last time debt hit these levels, America had just helped win a World War. What's our excuse today? Runaway spending. Bloated budgets. A uniparty that refuses to say no.
I've said no. I'll keep saying no. But I need Americans to demand better from their representatives.

@Colorado_N8tive @EWErickson No consumer in that situation would also say, “I should willingly take a pay cut because this will help my debt” which is what any tax cut is, and what Republicans do every time they have any power
English

@SnappyTurtle73 @EWErickson No consumer in the level of debt, would be reasonable to say, I just need a better job.
We’d all laugh at them and say cut the bloat- it’s all over social media.
We have a spending entitlement problem
English

Tax cuts, add to the debt,.. Every tax bill Republicans have ever put in has increased a deficit by enormous amounts. When you cut your revenue, your debt goes up.
Any politician who doesn’t advocate for both, raising revenue and cutting spending, is not serious about the debt and is only performing political theater
English

@SnappyTurtle73 @RandPaul So, the gov should be allowed to spend however much they want as long as they dont cut taxes? The gov spends too much money. If they spent less we could keep more of our own money & they wouldn't need to give us breaks through tax cuts. The solution is spend less of OUR money
English

@magachrchpastr Nobody gets credit for stopping imaginary issues
English

@EWErickson Is it your opinion the government should bail out private industry, where does it end comrade?
English

@ChloesPlanet “Doesn’t matter” 😂😂
MAGA lost their minds at this level under Biden but under Trump, suddenly it “doesn’t matter”
English

Doesn’t matter. They were high under Biden too.

@ttvDna__perfect @thevivafrei I think we’re going in circles here, as long as it can be something other than that, which it obviously can, then it’s protected by freedom of speech.
English

@SnappyTurtle73 @thevivafrei Ouch bro also i think the Leader of the FBI would know criminal slang especially for murder. In light of the many republican murders by democrats and the many assassination attempts we have to start jailing people for violent threats or calls to action.

English

@sirxeko @Seth_A_Cooney @thevivafrei That’s is literally not true, @grok where term to 86 something originate from and what’s the dictionary definition
English

@Seth_A_Cooney @SnappyTurtle73 @thevivafrei 86 has always meant kill. Sometimes people say kill when they arent literally killing something. Like kill the lights. But the word kill has always been a part of what 86 means. Kill the lights, kill the order, kill the president.
English

Sure, even if that’s true, which I don’t care if it is, it does nothing against the argument that it does have other known meanings. The term 86 something is common nomenclature to mean lots of things, and because it could mean anything other than to kill someone, the case falls on first amendment grounds, which is my point
English

@SnappyTurtle73 @thevivafrei Yea it was also a term used by the Italian mob to Murder someone.
English

@FBIDirectorKash @FBINewark FOUR!!! OMG!! Holy crappola, that’s like three more than one!! Well, I guess making it much harder for millions of citizens to vote is worth it, if it possibly stops a couple of illegals from voting.
English

Today out of @FBINewark: Four individuals have been charged with illegally voting in federal elections and making false statements applying for U.S. citizenship.
The individuals - all noncitizens - voted in elections including the 2020 Presidential election, 2022 midterms, and 2024 Presidential election cycles.
More to come. Thank you to our investigators and partners for their great work in the case. @DAGToddBlanche
