@nationaltrust Upstairs, in the rooms facing the river, the floor is raised & coming up to the middle of the window. I’ve noticed floors have been repaired/replaced and I’m nosy, I wanted to know what I was walking on. Is it permanent or temporary flooring in there? Thank you :)

@nationaltrust having checked the Calke Abbey website to ensure it was open today and then driven one hour to get there, only to find it was closed due to a flooded carpark and told "it's on Facebook" by staff which we don't use was more than annoying. Sort it out please NT !
