In Canada, people can be fined for cutting down trees on their own property. Law abiding citizens are being fined three times the annual income of the average Canadian family while rapists and murderers are left to roam free. Canada is a failed state.

As part of the “Wanted in Windsor” initiative, Windsor Police are seeking information on the whereabouts of Alwassi Al Latif, who is wanted in connection with a violent assault and extortion investigation. In July 2024, Al Latif allegedly forced a male into a vehicle and transported him to another location, where the victim was assaulted and threatened. The victim’s money and jewelry were allegedly taken before he was released. During the incident, threats were made against the victim, his family, and property. Al Latif is wanted on multiple charges in relation to this incident, including forcible confinement, assault, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, two counts of extortion, five counts of uttering death threats, and uttering threats to property. At the time of these alleged offences, Al Latif was serving a conditional sentence requiring him to remain in Ontario and comply with electronic monitoring. In October 2024, he was granted permission to travel outside the province without the monitoring device. His current whereabouts are unknown. Al Latif is described as a 28-year-old Middle Eastern male with a dark complexion and medium build, approximately 5’8” tall and 161 lbs., with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Al Latif’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Windsor Police Service. Anonymous tips may also be submitted through Windsor & Essex County Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at catchcrooks.com. The “Wanted in Windsor” list spotlights offenders who are currently evading arrest for a number of crimes. By bringing these cases into the public eye, investigators hope to generate new leads and accelerate efforts to bring these individuals to justice.
