@jowole1216 You can’t move the 23 year old superstar face of the franchise to DH to accommodate Jacob Young. It’s just can’t happen.

My guess is that Wiemer goes down and then Crews moves to right and Wood moves to DH (with Young in center and Lile in left). Then Lile DH maybe once or twice a week to get Wood on his feet, but Wood mainly DH. I just think that it’d be hard to move Young to the bench considering just how valuable his defense is compared to Wood. Maybe Young would be on the bench against most righties or something as a compromise, but my expectation is that he won’t just be a defensive substitution, he’s too valuable.

I like Giannis don’t get me wrong, but not as much as I did when he was younger. Remember you aren’t trading for the younger MVP version. You’d be getting the higher paid, more injured Giannis for his age 32, 33, 34, and 35 seasons. As always it all comes down to cost. If Milwaukee is demanding a bunch of FRP’s be thrown in as if Giannis had the value of his past then you walk away. Guessing Brad, like his predecessor Danny is doing his job which is to do his due diligence on a deal. If nothing else it helps bump up the cost for another contender trying to add Giannis.
