I have 10 covers and novel art to finish by next months end, I cannot possibly work harder, faster for cheaper. I work thro weekends, and long into the night, and volunteer to advocate for ethical Ai. When Ai is stealing that hard work we do for free and selling it back to you

The only way for Ai/Machine Learning to be ethical is to be opt-in from the start.

Many of my peers' copyrighted work was scraped for this image to be possible & these companies are now telling them to "opt out" when they didn't consent to begin with. Anger js warranted.

@shroomcatt It's a really good situation if so! I've had the opposite xp, many yrs ago: unfulfilling job completely drained me, & then I still felt guilty for not creating afterhours, skills getting rusty af :/ idk, it's still hard to do art for leisure; never truly is

Something that has been so wild to get used since starting work….is not having to feel pressured to constantly work on portfolio work anymore?? Like I can just sit and play games after work and not feel guilty about it? I can just… do art for fun?? What a concept 😳

@saavikford Could I ask what mask that is & what do you do about eating on long flights or in airport? I was thinking about getting a sip valve for 3M aura, idk. Logistics of travel are so much more annoying now 😞
