New findings from our latest study show how rising heat is reshaping daily life and putting millions at risk. The challenge is real, but so is our path forward: early‑warning systems, cooling solutions and community action can protect people now while we work to cut emissions. nature.ly/4bCYOh1

Protecting and restoring nature is one of America's smartest investments. 🌱 A TNC-commissioned report reveals that conservation funding delivers a $4 return for every federal dollar spent, fueling local economies, our health and public safety. That’s a win for people and nature. nature.ly/4aSUutV

Nature depends on movement. Wildlife migrations nourish ecosystems, sustain communities and keep our planet resilient. As routes disappear, both wildlife and people face growing risks. Protecting connected habitats can make all the difference. nature.ly/4rcL7tP

After tagging leatherbacks in the Solomon Islands, satellite data revealed where they go next. While most turtles swam to New Zealand’s cold waters, one tagged female swam over 10,000 kilometers to California! This data helps us protect critical habitat. #WorldWildlifeDay nature.ly/3OLRxCC

📣 Wetlands for the win! Maine is investing 4.6 million dollars in 10 new projects that will restore salt marshes, rebuild eelgrass, reconnect rivers and strengthen climate resilience for communities and wildlife. This funding comes through the Maine Natural Resource Conservation Program, which has supported more than 36 million dollars in wetland conservation since 2008. Read more here: nature.ly/3O58QhT

Big conservation news from Pennsylvania! We’ve protected 1,158 acres along the Allegheny Front — a vital 200‑mile landscape that serves as an important migration route for countless species adapting to a changing climate. This newly acquired Brush Creek property will become part of State Game Lands 82, helping keep this irreplaceable ecosystem connected while improving air and water quality, preserving biodiversity, and strengthening climate resilience. This is just one example of the incredible progress we made in 2025. Want to see more? Click here: nature.ly/3XKfT0Y

A huge conservation success in Texas! @nature_tx In 2025, we protected more than 650 acres at Heath Canyon Ranch, nestled near Big Bend National Park. This breathtaking property bridges a critical gap between existing protected areas, preserves high-quality wildlife habitat and safeguards over a mile of year-round Rio Grande riverfront. Home to more than 250 plant species — some found nowhere else on Earth — Heath Canyon Ranch provides refuge for diverse wildlife and expands public access for hiking, wildlife viewing and river recreation. And this is just one of many wins we celebrated this year! See more incredible places YOU helped protect: nature.ly/3XKfT0Y

A major milestone for Colorado’s wild places! @Nature_Colorado In 2025, we protected 10,300 acres at Huerfano River Canyon Ranch, a stunning landscape with 11 miles of river, cottonwood woodlands, marshes and dramatic cliffs. This area is a haven for black bears, pronghorn, thriving elk herds and even the rare Colorado checkered whiptail lizard found only here. By conserving this property, we’re keeping vital habitats connected across southeastern Colorado, ensuring wildlife has room to roam and rivers stay clean. This is just one example of the incredible progress we made in 2025. Want to see more? Explore all the wins here: nature.ly/491KpbW
