Why cant we just allow a Love at first site trope? why does everything have to have this build up? Why cant wuuyang be the naive dork that falls for the space girl, not every love story needs a buildup, why cant some stories start with love? Instead of being the endgoal?

@AbbyAZK But who says this isnt the letting it happen? Who's to say anran or someone didnt notice this moment and are going to tease him in like the next chapter or so, I dont see this as payoff, I see this as just a cute moment confirming there's something there to the audience

@Navondonx Him having a crush is not the issue, them immediately giving it a pay off moment is the issue. Let it happen for at least 2 chapters, have him talk to anran, have someone else tease him, really lean into it and then go from there, its more fun that way imo.
