@Real_Ames This just happened on my back street, 35 mph…crothch-rocket ALWAYS sped down the road at least 70. Slammed into our neighbor turning into his drive…huge old boat of a car, smashed it in! We always thought it was just a matter of time. Sad, 2 neighbors affected.

I don't believe that it is legal for him to do that. The state I live in, if something is behind a locked fence, you are not allowed to take the fence down to repo anything. You can not remove anything from anybody's property. Even if it's blocked in with another vehicle, you can not touch that other vehicle to get to the vehicle you need to repo.

If you think a fence will stop the repo man, you would be wrong. Do you know what he's using to move the items? I've seen trailers like tow trucks, but this is new to me.

I’m seeing, yet again, this surge of hatred for the Boomer generation. I’m a late season Boomer, born in 1961; I’ve worked for nearly 50 years, have been in the same profession for 37 years, I’ve routinely worked 45-60 hours a week. I don’t get why we are so vilified.

my parents never beat me. But MAN could they yell or punish. Id get all my shit taken away, id sit in my room and cry and theyd yell at me to stop. An efficiency apartment with a roommate who slept on the couch. Yeah, we had it so much better! We were camping out, they’re glamping out!

@PiretHappiness @MatrixMysteries Life is hard, it has always been! There's no difference as to when I was young, but you kids already have internet doing eveything for you! We didn't have that! Nothing that it brings easy, we had. We worked our asses off, we did free stuff, ate at home, rode busses and bikes.

@gotrice2024 This is a legal matter. While I don't care, cash is a universal legal tender in America. Should just give the sandwich and charge ahead of time to avoid these issues.

This gentleman went to get a quick bite to eat, he ordered his sandwich the way he wanted it and when the employee rung him up, he tried to give the cash. The employee became annoyed and told him that due to a system problem, they couldn’t take cash and told him he would be throwing his sandwich away. The gentleman even said that since it was an issue on their end could he just get the sandwich for free since it’s not his fault they couldn’t accept cash and the employee became even more annoyed and said no. I have a feeling the employee was annoyed because he knew it was his fault he didn’t let the customer know beforehand what was going on, shouldn’t the employee just let him have the sandwich though?
