Wow it’s been a long time since I looked at anything diabetic related and not only have I found out they’re discontinuing my insulin but there’s now a 7 day wear infusion set (ouch!)

He’s now laid to rest, next to his brother. RIP Smudge, say hi to Toffee for me. 😭

It’s with a very heavy heart, that Smudge is joining his brother, Toffee, in Cat Heaven this morning. Not ashamed to say I’m in bits, along with the whole family. He’s had 17 1/2 amazing years, since being recused by us and had always loved a cuddle and smooth. 😢 🐱 xxx #RIP

Sad times here this AM, as Smudge is in the final stage of kidney disease and have to make a call to the vet 😭 He’s 17 and has had an amazing life with us, since being rescued with his late brother, Toffee. 😢

❤️ 13 years ago, Eva had open heart surgery to treat SVAS - common with #WilliamsSyndrome. Hardest moment in my life was restraining her for general anaesthetic, unsure if I’d see her again. We were the lucky ones.❤️ #openheartsurgery #heartsurgery
