🏄‍♂️ Catching a wave on the surface of the ocean is better if you are buoyant and have good balance. We designed cyanostar macrocycles to buoy up on the surface of water and gain balance only when binding anions. Oh yeah -- and showcasing Hokusai's Great Wave off Kanagawa, Japan

Here's another #ChemSciCover 👏 Heather C. Allen et al. (@floodgroup_iub) present their new article 🤯 #cyanostar 🌊 Recognition competes with hydration in anion-triggered monolayer formation of cyanostar supra-amphiphiles at aqueous interfaces Link: 🔗ow.ly/3jt850IJtKM

Thanks very much for all your support, guidance and supervision, @MassonOhio . 😄 A tough but really interesting work with tons of nice results! By the way, this is #MyFirstChemSci !!! 🥳🥳📑

Find out how Platinum terpyridyl complexes, short peptides and Cucurbit[8]uril assemble into “pendant necklaces” in our #JustAccepted @ChemicalScience paper! Congratulations @HBarbero_PhD! pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…

Why legislators couldn't pass a bill for long 10 yrs? Cz it is inherently unfair. Even @RepZoeLofgren tweeted #HR1044 will make things worse, then why try to pass it by 'finish line'? House version has 3 sections, Senate version has 9. Amendments made to sec 2 thru #Stop386

@RiinaAav @ismsc2020 @ramin_rabbani @RiinaAav Size of the hydrocarbons play important role, if the size is too small it’s loosely bound to the cavity and if the size is too big it cannot fit inside the cavity. But if the volume of the guest is such that it covers around 55% of the cavity then we see a tight binding

@Nazim_OU @ismsc2020 @ramin_rabbani Thank you for very interesting poster! Is it so, that compounds that fill the cavity with their volume more are preferably binding (larger hydrocarbons preferred to small)? Can you comment?
