Raised in #PMQs today the case of Dr John Stephens, whose remarkable recovery from a serious stroke demonstrates unequivocally why access to mechanical thrombectomy must be expanded. It's a genuine gamechanger. I'll continue to work with the @TheStrokeAssoc on this. @Johnnieboys

For > 4.5 hours we prefer urgent call to Stroke reg, who then may advise to still put out a Stroke team call. We will review effectiveness in due course.
