Good morning sports fans. Breakfast of champions resumes in Paris for opening day of competition at the Paralympics. Croissants and coffee and then into the day. Wheelchair rugby and basketball coverage today. Watch it all live on CBC.

There are NINE 🇨🇦 Canadians on the track this morning at Stade de France. Shaping up to be another absolutely electric day here. It starts at 10am local/4am ET Carb loaded again. Hooked up my coffee IV drip. And awaiting the fans to fill this place to with energy once again.

@Devin_Heroux That’s just a short stroll by Parisian standards 😊 you have to make to trip to set the bar for your hydration, protein, sweet treat and caffeine fixes. Then let the comparisons…I mean the games 😉begin!

I just google mapped the closest 7-Eleven location to see if I could stop by for old times sake. The nearest one here in Paris is 14 kilometres away from where I am. In Tokyo there was one every four blocks. What a time that was three years ago.
