One of the most unassuming billionaires you will ever meet (not that I've met many). Hosted the Wildcats golf tournament a few years back. Sat down at a table for breakfast across from a guy in a ball cap and lumber jacket. Asked if he worked for the team. He smiled and said "Yup." We had a nice chat about golf, then someone came over and said, "Mr. Irving they want you downstairs." Choked on my muffin. I'm such an idiot. He was a nice man. And built a first class hockey team.

It’s lower on the importance list, but the Leafs do need a L4 remake. It’s been nauseating watching Lorentz & Jarnkrok for 2 seasons.

The people of Toronto know that the Bruins still have a 1st rounder from the Leafs, right? The Bruins didn't lose the 1st round pick it just gets kicked down the road. McKenna isn't part of the trade. The trade is now just Minten, Blanar, & whoever is picked in 2028 for Carlo
