Apart from this .. na hii … Me thinking .. walk with me … just imagine this scenario … Riggy G impeachment not being what most of us are led to believe it to be. Let’s go to state house in 2024. WSR and RiggyG working together. They meet and hatch a plan for 2027 elections. They agree: Fake an impeachment. It happens. They agree: Riggy G go and consolidate the mountains by appearing being anti Kasongo.. it happens. They agree: Form a political party …DCP is formed. WSR tells Riggy G “ call me any name any time any day .. so long as it consolidates the Mountain ….it happens. Join the United opposition.. it happens. While in the United opposition .. “destroy it from within by being a mole and playing a wild card” .. it happens. Close to 2027.. the impeachment appeal process takes place… it happens. The appeal outcome- “case overturned”. RiggyG is reinstated back to the presidency. Kindiki with little political gravitas …is shown the door. RiggyG & WSR are back to where it all began .. but with a difference .. The difference being Riggy g puts on the table the whole DCP basket-full of the mountain . The 2 gentleman negotiate - and enter into a coalition.. KK, ODM ya Oburu plus DCP form a formidable coalition.. WSR as president, Riggy G as the deputy…ODM ya Oburu chief Cabinet secretary.. The United opposition fate? .. in a balance. Game over. Watch this solace .. “not all that glitters is gold.. “

Hi Nyakundi, Good afternoon. We are currently travelling from Nanyuki to Nakuru and are at Wiyumiririe in vehicle KDW 635H. The driver is carrying a goat together with passengers, causing discomfort and posing health concerns, contrary to Section 100 of the Traffic Act (Cap 403). Despite raising concerns, the driver remains unapologetic. Kindly intervene.

Yes he did put Dr Thiongulu in his place despite the learned lawyer’s bravado in the court room. He gave no room for intimidation.. Remember this man Gikonyo has seen the nakedness of perhaps 50% of those present in court .. in his capacity as the most renowned doctor in Kenya. Presidents included.

I have watched Dr Gikonyo under cross examination and what struck me is that some men reach an age where intimidation stops working on them. There is a certain calmness that comes from having seen governments come and go, presidents rise and fall, ministers behave like small gods, and public storms disappear after a few weeks. You could see a man who was not auditioning for approval from the room, the lawyers, the cameras or the political crowd outside. That is what made it interesting. Kenya is full of people who tremble the moment power enters the room. They start calculating what to say, who might be offended, which side is watching and how tomorrow’s headlines may read. Dr Gikonyo looked like someone who has outlived that fear. At some point in life, the most dangerous person in any room is not the loudest one. It is the old man who no longer needs anything from anyone.

The late Kenyan billionaire Chris Kirubi built a vast business empire and lived a high-profile, luxurious life. Although he got married and had two children, he divorced in 1991 due to clashing lifestyles and constant disagreements. It seems this thing called marriage is not easy at all. Despite all his wealth, Kirubi chose to remain single afterward .To me, marriage doesn’t make sense. Apart from having kids, what else do you really gain? Casual sex (pekejeng) is readily available anywhere these days. Marriage just feels like a burden for men. You pay the rent, do the shopping, raise the children — and in the end, the kids will look after their mother while you, the old man, are left vulnerable and alone. So, stay guided! Is marriage really worth it?

The @LawSocietyofKe has moved to the Supreme Court to challenge the surveillance provisions of the Computer Misuse and Cybercrimes Act, 2018 and I want every Kenyan to understand why this matters. In March 2026, the Court of Appeal struck down Sections 22 and 23 of the Act. These are the provisions that criminalised publishing false or misleading information online. The court rightly described them as akin to unguided missiles likely to net innocent citizens. That was a necessary and welcome outcome. However, the court upheld Sections 48–53, which permit the State to intercept your emails, voice calls and digital communications for up to 9 months, compel service providers to hand over your subscriber data and search any person present on premises during a data-related warrant all with what we believe is insufficient judicial oversight. LSK, together with @BAKE_Kenya, @Article19EA, and @KUJKenya, has now petitioned the Supreme Court to determine whether these provisions meet the threshold set by Articles 31 and 33 of our Constitution which codifies the right to privacy and the right to free expression. The Supreme Court has certified the application as urgent.

Spent the past 10 days in Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia with a client TATU CITY, business partners and friends. Of course, such travels give the discerning traveller comparative perspectives of how governments run their affairs and what one can learn from the countries you visit. It also buts one in painful and cruel perspective the morass of problems that holds back Kenya. These are some of my observations. 1. Saudi Arabia is a country led by visionary and selfless leadership. Crown Prince and PM MBS is hell bent on transforming his country and people. Saudi Arabia is led by People who love their country and people and want move both foward. Their country's interest comes number 1, 2 and 3. 2. Corruption is unheard of and the rule of law (law that is known, obeyed and implemented to the letter) is ingrained in the national culture. The Kenyan craze of our leaders asking "what is in it for me...and what can I leave for my children" before they sign off a contract is unheard of. 3. Industrialisation is at a very advanced level. Saudi Arabia is manufacturing hub where the private sector runs everything and government creates enabling environment. We visited some amazing factories. 4. The people and their welfare provides the raison d'etre for Saudi government's very existence. Health care, education and infrastructure are all geared to advance the welfare of the citizenry. You will see walkways running into kilometres with watering joints all over Riyadh. 5. Riyadh is a construction site with an impressive and amazing architecture landscape. They just don't build tall ugly towers of concrete and glass. They build beautiful award winning structures. 6. Education, especially for girls is high priority of the Saudi regime. Girls only Universities are common and one in Riyadh is beautiful and world famous. Scholarships for foreign students is now very common in Saudi Universities. 7. Culture and their national heritage is promoted and protected. Of course Saudi Arabia has an ancient civilisation and is the origin many Abrahamic religions. The government takes this responsibility very serious and promotes it for the benefit of its citizenry. 8. Affordable housing is big. We visited beautiful homes in Jeddah. The target is have 75% of Saudi Nationals owing homes by 2030. They have passed the initial target of 65% 9. Private sector is big in Saudi Arabia. 10. We had amazing hosts including the people's ambassador to Riyadh @WehliyeMohamed and many others including the gracious and affable Ambassador of an East African country...asante sana bwana Ambassador and pass our regards to Boss... 11. Not just Kenya, but Africa has alot to learn from Saudi Arabia...resource utilisation, shutting out corruption, industrialisation, corruption free infrastructure, affordable housing, private sector, selfless leadership etc.

The name of Teacher Alice, Grade 8 educator at Murema Primary School in Kasarani, has always been one that parents trusted to nurture and protect their children. That trust has now been shaken by a deeply troubling allegation. A young Grade 8 boy — someone’s son — is said to have been subjected to corporal punishment by the very person entrusted with his education and well-being. In Kenya, where the law has long prohibited such practices in schools, this incident raises serious questions about duty of care and professional conduct. No child should ever leave the classroom carrying pain instead of knowledge. A teacher who cannot control their anger has failed one of the most fundamental responsibilities of the profession. The classroom must remain a place of safety, learning, and growth — never a place of fear. To Teacher Alice: we ask, with concern rather than condemnation, what led to this alleged breach of your duty? To the school administration, the Teachers Service Commission, and the Ministry of Education: the people of Kasarani are watching closely. This matter must be investigated promptly, transparently, and fairly. The affected boy deserves justice, and every child in that school deserves the assurance that they are safe. Child protection is not negotiable. We expect swift and decisive action to uphold the standards our children deserve.

She is a mother of two and has built an impressive career, having served as a commissioner at the IEBC, worked as an economist with the African Union, and advocated passionately for social justice. She currently serves as Chief of Peacebuilding Strategy and Partnerships at the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs in New York.Yet despite her exceptional education, global exposure, professional stature, and influence, she has chosen to be in a polygamous marriage.

As we speak today, Kenyan politics remains the graveyard of imagination because the people who rule this country keep becoming billionaires without building anything that can honestly be called industry. Take Rigathi Gachagua as an example. He is a billionaire today, yet when you ask what serious industry he owns, what factory he built, what product he created, what export empire he established or what invention changed people’s lives, the answer disappears into tenders, land, proxies and state access. If you want to track stolen Kenyan money today, stop looking for complicated explanations and just follow the plots, the sudden apartments, the ranches, the malls, the relatives and the proxies who become rich without any visible enterprise. Kenya’s political class has perfected the art of turning public office into private land, then calling the proceeds investment. Now look at gambling and ask yourself why almost all politicians are linked to betting, Aviator style addiction and gambling companies that drain poor Kenyans every day. A young man loses his last fifty shillings chasing fake hope on his phone, while the same political class that ruined the economy stands behind the machinery taking the money. From Ruto to Gachagua and the wider political class around them, the problem is not just corruption but a total lack of creativity. These people are not creative enough to build industries, so they build gates around public money and charge Kenyans to pass through their own country. They do not create value for citizens, they create access for themselves, and when they gather in one place, you are not looking at leaders with ideas but at the easiest industry in Kenya for people whose only real talent is extracting money from poor citizens without shame.
