In 2025, NCS-TCP made significant progress toward its goals, with 125 recognized TCPFs and the certification of nearly 250 million plants, ensuring the production and distribution of virus-free, high-quality planting material and supporting sustainable farming.

The DBT- NCSTCP achieved a significant milestone in 2024 by having 111 tissue culture companies across 17 states, surpassing the 100-mark milestone for the first time. Together, these companies have a combined installed production capacity of 500 million plants.

DBT-NCS-TCP Management Cell, NIPGR held its regular interaction with tissue culture companies to understand and resolve their concerns and make them aware of the standard procedures that require to be followed for improved output. @DBTIndia @NIPGRsocial

DBT-NCSTCP, NIPGR, New Delhi, collaborated with CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, to conduct a significant awareness program in Jorhat, Assam. The program aimed to promote the tissue culture industry and raise awareness among farmers.

Meeting of Project Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, NCS-TCP, DBT, convened at NIPGR, New Delhi on Sep 12, 2023. During the meeting, the commendable progress of the NMC work was acknowledged. Productive discussions led to valuable suggestions aimed at expanding the program.
