US military aid to Israel (~$3.8B/year) mostly comes right back to the US nearly 75% has to be spent on American-made weapons and tech from US companies. It creates thousands of jobs in the defense industry, pumps money into American manufacturing, and strengthens US security through shared tech and countering threats like Iran/Hamas/Hezbollah. Bottom line: it’s a smart investment that directly helps the American economy and keeps US forces stronger. Israel’s economy is strong, but the constant wars definitely hurt it not in a devastating way, but yeah: massive reserve call ups grind things to a halt, tourism dies, construction freezes, real economic pain. US gives this kind of aid to tons of allies not handouts, just straight up moves to serve American interests, boost our own industry, and protect our security.

Some days I wake up so happy that Israel has free Healthcare. I cant tell you how amazing it is to know that when they choose to attack another country we gladly dedicate our lives and treasure to fight for them. God's chosen people. Never voting for an aipac candidate again.

It will be very interesting to see the response of the ICC if Pakistan go to the World Cup but don't play India. I don't know the legal position, or how the precedence could play out, but I won't be surprised if the ICC asks that the broadcaster's loss be deducted from Pakistan's share of ICC revenues. And, by the way, what if it is an India-Pakistan final?
