There is always a tug of war between the rights of individuals to not be hospitalized against their will (and subsequently not to be forced to be treated) and “public safety.” You cannot really commit everyone who is delusional. Unlike a lot of y’all, I spent my formative years in a small church in one of the poorest neighborhoods in the city. The most that church did for people that were not members were let them come worship, prepare meals on the holidays and turkey drives.

@chef_cream Georgetown. HBCUs are great, but the upwards mobility and ROI (esp for political science) is unmatched. Anyone can go to Howard, and it doesn’t give as much resume recognition. GTOWN alumni network is unmatched, and the social scene is a sacrifice for better oppurtunity
