Very sad to learn RAF pilot George Dunn DFC has died aged 103. Privileged to raise many a glass with him over the years, he once told me, "The war was a bit of an adventure; a toss up who survived. I did, friends didn't. That's the luck of the draw". RIP old friend. Duty done 🍷

Both the hospital and my GP agree that I need care at home to maintain mobility, quality of life &c. They also agree that the NHS can't provide it to me. So I'm waiting on a private nursing agency visit. If only I'd arrived here in a dinghy or hadn't worked all my life. Lol.
