Viviane: 🌹Labour led by Keir for me
If you’ve got charisma you can accept £5m gifts or not pay your Council Tax whilst demanding the rich pay their fair share. If you’ve not got charisma you’re finished. All your good work ignored.

For the avoidance of doubt, for me, Keir Starmer should fight on. Labour risks looking unserious and inward-looking at a time of huge global challenge and instability - and risks compromising so much of the sheer hard work to be electable again after the long post-2010 years.

The Prime Minister should focus on getting on with the job to deliver the change the UK needs. We rightly criticised the Tories for plunging this country into chaos time and time again with endless leadership contests. Labour should not do the same.

The country expects us to get on with governing. That’s what the Prime Minister is doing. Our party has a process for triggering a leadership election - that process has not been triggered, nor should it be. It would be playing right into the hands of Farage and Reform.

The Prime Minister is right to stick. We need to show cool heads at a time of global crisis. We all remember when the Tories imploded. Our country and our party need political and economic stability. Unity is strength.

The election results were devastating, and the Prime Minister has rightly taken responsibility for them. But the last 48 hours have been damaging to the country and our party. The Prime Minister is right to get on with the job. That is what the country expects of all of us. It is clear we have work to do to rebuild our relationship with the country and with our supporters. The Prime Minister and all of us in government should take this summer as an opportunity to reflect and to listen to voices from across our country, especially young people.

@archer_rs @Neets21 Don’t forget that Keir Starmer was involved in prosecuting journalists for phone hacking. I think it was Tim Shipman who as good as admitted recently that this is why a lot of the media have conducted a character assassination against him.

The British mainstream media has worked as a group to undermine and destabilise Keir Starmer ever since his election because the people who fund the media feared and hated him. This is not random but a coordinated, well funded coup d'état in plain sight. The media is a disgrace

@archer_rs @Neets21 It’s a Media Coup led by foreign owners who have a complete hatred of a government doing good for the country, when it goes against their vested interests.

Proud of Team @redbridgelabour, our outstanding leadership team @KamRai7 @vanisha_solanki and our brilliant organiser @__morts__. After a particularly nasty and divisive campaign, the Redbridge Independents came away with just four councillors in Ilford North.
Redbridge Council@RedbridgeLive

The count has now concluded and the number of seats held by each political party is as follows: Labour: 43 seats Redbridge Independents: 9 seats Green Party - 5 seats Conservative Party - 5 seats Reform - 1 seat Full results: orlo.uk/9bczr

Our local election results were remarkable given the political landscape and I’m proud of the team I led, their effort, and their commitment to our neighbours. We offered unity, ambition and leadership against division and spoke to 1000s across the whole of Redbridge. 1/2

We are delivering on our manifesto and our economy is stabilising. The Prime Ministers global leadership has been excellent. A 5th prime minister in 6 years will paralyse our government and make the cost of living crisis worse. We promised stability and I will fight for that.

You don't tolerate liars and then end your post with a whopping great lie. Reform did not win a national election. They won a series of local elections and fared much worse than predicted. PS. How's the legal advice coming about the £5M?
Nigel Farage MP@Nigel_Farage

My lawyers have formally written to Ben Habib. They demanded an immediate apology and public retraction for the baseless allegations he made today. I do not take legal action often. But I will not accept slander & politically motivated smears after winning a national election.
