@NeiOCo @MappingFL The "colony" was there for only a 10 years before the British reasserted control and have lived there 186 years. (This is also ignoring thst even before that Britian and France had co-existing colonies on the island before this, but evacuated in 1774 but maintained its claim)

Let’s be clear about something
1). The Falkland Islands are British because the population wants to be British
2). But just as important. Argentina has no way to take them. Argentina couldn’t conquer a Walmart.
