@Katie_Cronin He wasn't released by Magistrates as you suggest. A DVPO is a civil order and the IP or the alleged perpetrator are rarely in court. He wouldn't have been in custody. A DVPO can be granted without the support of the IP, where there is insufficient evidence for a charge 1/2

He's changed his mind on why he wanted to buy it multiple times.

@GreatAuk6 @JohnRankin00 @BarristerSecret @10MarXmen Hospital Orders are not prison sentences ... and the hospital has to be specified to ensure that there is a place and that doctors accept that the person can be/needs treatment. Despite prison "over crowding" they can always find a prison space- even if it is police custody.

@10MarXmen Judges have no say in which prison a defendant goes to. Nor does the Prime Minister.

You know what really bothers me about Tim Walz? When the US Marine Corps asked me to go to Iraq to serve my country, I did it. When Tim Walz was asked by his country to go to Iraq, he dropped out of the Army and allowed his unit to go without him. I think that's shameful.
