I am saying this again, India is no longer a country for free and fair business, nor a land of creative freedom. You invest your hard-earned money to build something from scratch, and suddenly 2-rupee Bajrang Dal goons show up at your doorstep to shut it down, just because you try to create a neutral space or say something that doesn’t fit their politics. The attacks on Piyush Bansal and Namita Thapar will push a whole generation of entrepreneurs to leave India. Economic growth depends on a strong ecosystem, and when people don’t feel safe to build or speak, why would anyone stay? On one side, Hindutva goons. On the other, what does the government offer? High taxes, constant Income Tax and ED notices, harassment of the very people trying to create jobs and value. And let’s be clear, this doesn’t happen without political patronage. BJP cannot deny that these mobs are part of the ecosystem that benefits them. You build something, and one day 100 unemployed goons can walk in and destroy it. Is this the environment we want for business and innovation?

(1/3) Hi @rapidobikeapp @sankaaravind @regards_rishi Today I booked a rapido auto from Andheri(W) to Powai in Mumbai. Rider came in 3-4 minutes, I sat in, gave otp &ride started. 100 mts ahead he asks me to get down coz there’s heavy traffic. I told him to continue, he denied.

@rapidobikeapp Started pointing fingers, abusing and in a threatning tone. I got down, clicked his picture and while doing that he tried snatching my phone as well! Pathetic from Rapido. Dont want such riders in my city who would harass people and threaten them. Here is a picture.

I told him lets go to cops, he was being arrogant. I told him that if you are in Mumbai, you have to face traffic. Go back to your native if you want to avoid it to which he got super aggressive and started abusing in Hindi. Told him not to abuse as I didn’t. @rapidobikeapp

3:45pm, 29th March in Sab TV lane Lakshmi Industrial Est.Andheri (w).This mcgm guy comes and tells me its pay&park.I have parked at the same spot numerous times in last 5 months and never seen anyone. His id card,does he look 33y/o?Spelling of designation. @mybmc @MumbaiPolice

Please look into it, these guys loot common people in the name of parking and all. I have parked my car here alot in last 4 months, never seen anyone except today and his fake id. Man was close to 50-60years old and id shows 1991 born. Spellings are wrong. @mybmc @mybmcwardKW

@MTPHereToHelp Whom are you trying to fool? I am a resident of this lane. Whether odd or even I see vehicles parked daily and once in a while a tow truck appears. I’ll take it up with the highest authority if not cleared rightnow. Dont waste tax payer money.

@MTPHereToHelp Especially when Tipu Sultan road is closed, the road next to BMW showroom is all dug up! No space for vehicles or walking and yet everyday these are parked.

@MTPHereToHelp Then how are the same vehicles parked everyday if odd even rule is in place and action is being taken? Either it’s not strict enough or culprits need heavier fines that impact their pockets. How is a common man supposed to live like this?

8:30-9:30am on 22nd March - the traffic cop at Mumbai Central station was talking rudely as I parked the car outside station. Comes & tell me this is no parking while there was no sign. Tell me “It was removed recently”. @mybmc @MumbaiPolice @MTPHereToHelp @WesternRly

Was asking me to pay 1500₹ fine. I Clearly said no.If i dont see a no parking sign why the fine?Told me the sign was there earlier & every station has a parking. I told him how is a new person supposed to know?Atleast put a no parking sign there in Mumbai central @MTPHereToHelp
