@molineuxmusings Said this in another post - When the confidence has gone players don't train as well, they go through the motions, managers are lost for new ideas, the spiral of decline is difficult to halt. That is why new managers often bemoan the fitness of the players they inherit.

I know it’s become cliche, but it’s so obvious that Vitor did not have the team fit enough for the challenge of this season. Bad players are bad players, but they’re worse when they’re unfit. The timeline to our upturn in form speaks to the need to get them conditioned properly.

For people wondering why Wolves were so bad in the first half of the season and why it took a good few weeks to improve under Rob Edwards…they weren’t fit and had a truly abysmal summer transfer window. Vitor Pereira and Jeff Shi bear plenty of responsibility. The lack of intensity in games was startling. How could elite PL players be so unfit? This from @JPercyTelegraph of @TeleFootball #wwfc

@bfcgpg TBF other than all of us in the ground and millions watching on TV it would be unreasonable for Atwell to get anything right at first look, very poor last night.....🙄

Think you know the backpass rule? It reads "it has been deliberately kicked to the goalkeeper by a team-mate" So....was this a backpass or not?

Full credit to @toluarokodare too! Has sat patiently and has took his opportunities well. Scored some important goals this campaign in a struggling side and could have grabbed the winner yesterday! It’s always difficult to come off the bench and make an impact but he has done that! Time for T 🫖🤙🏿

@wolvespremier Got to agree, look at the options he has and the results we are now achieving. I was there last night and unless I was mistaken there were two teams on the pitch, one pushing for Europe, one bottom of the league. We are a championship squad picking up points against PL squads

Jeeeeez. Edwards haters out in force. For the benefit of hindsight and from the comfort of our stands / armchair we’d all pick a different side. Last night we faced a side, although unfashionable, in seventh place on the verge of a Champions League Place. Brentford are a club that sell at the right price - but re-invest well, something we haven’t been latterly. So to come back from two goals down and deserve to win the game after hitting the bar and post late on is a credit to how we turned it around. We are charging up the form table and we are still fighting! Magnificent support too from the travelling faithful who are the best judges and gave Edwards and his players the respect they deserved at the end. All we asked for was fight and a turn in fortunes and our players playing for the shirt ….and that’s exactly what we are getting. Had Edwards been in situe since the summer - we would NOT be in this position! Up the Wolves!

@_KKWWFC Be interesting to see if any other club, at any level, commits to reduce ticket prices by a similar percentage. Difficult to be negative?

An amazing! £3017.85 raised for our recipient charities (plus 2 buckets of change I forgot at the Mount😩) for our night with Michael Branch!!! I am sure the attendees will agree it was a wholeheartedly honest and humbling evening with many truths spoken! It takes a man to speak so openly! Thank you for everybody’s continued kind and generous support! The funds raised will make so much difference so many people! ❤️❤️❤️ Have a great weekend and I will keep you reliably informed on all future fundraising events 🔥💪❤️
