@Glinner You people keep using this asinine phrase “lifelong medical patient”, but none of you can give a clear definition of what it means beyond having a medical prescription which almost 70% of Americans have. Anyone with a pulse is a “lifelong medical patient”.

@MartinMonmouth @Angel41527796 She's a good looking young woman with a funky style. That's all. It wasn't disrespectful in the slightest and people making a thing of it make themselves look stupid.

I don't agree with the views of thr new Green MP Hannah Spencer. But people seem to have decided to go for her appearance and looks. I don't feel that's necessary at all.

NHS England is consulting on permanently removing gender-affirming hormones for trans young people under 18 in England. The evidence reviews excluded most of the international research base. The policy does not reference once the harm caused by withholding care. Consultation closes 7 June 2026. My full review: open.substack.com/pub/helenwebbe…

@tomhfh The UK could increase capacity almost immediately at almost no cost by allowing Heathrow (and all airports) to operate 24 hours a day.

Currently waiting for a takeoff slot in our nationally hobbled hub airport. Just two runways means far more time stuck on the tarmac, just like now. It also means more time in the air for planes coming in to land, which need to loop and loop until they can access a slot. We should probably build another few runways here. A modest suggestion:

This is a lie. Anti-trans lobbyists have had far greater & more direct access to politicians & decision-makers than pro-LGBTQ+ individuals or orgs. This account is just another anonymous, anti-LGBTQ+ pressure group focused on spreading disinformation to cause real harm.

This will look very troublesome to those women fighting for the implementation of the Supreme Court ruling who don’t get this kind of access and government PR, and never have. It’s a poor look. Helen Belcher, on the left with a fringe, was a co-founder of Trans Media Watch. He’s indirectly and directly partly responsible for the industrial scale UK media capture, from around 2010 onwards, from which we are only just emerging. That media capture put him where he is today, arguably - excessive affirmation that ‘trans’ people are uniquely vulnerable gets him the government’s ear on ‘trans’ ‘hate’ ‘crime’. Apologies for all the inverted commas but it’s all activist jargon. Mridul Wadhwa (two away from Belcher) resigned from running a rape crisis centre when a review found he failed to protect women-only spaces and did not ‘prioritise the needs of survivors’. Very shocking that the government is this 👇proud to be working with him. Meanwhile Olivia Bailey has now told the Commons twice, and additionally an audience at a Stonewall event, that her government plans to ban ‘gender identity’ ‘conversion therapy’. If she can define gender identity she’ll be the only person in the world ever to so. In fact she’d be hard pushed to define ‘trans’. Retweeted by Bridget Phillipson’s team.

Stephen Fry affirmed his support for the trans community in a recorded message played at the Trans Mission concert on Wednesday (11 March). The concert, presented by Mighty Hoopla and Olly Alexander, raised money for charities Not A Phase and Good Law Project, with several famous faces sending in video messages of support. In his video, Fry said: “Our trans siblings deserve our support and encouragement, endorsement and vindication now more than ever as the rising tide of transphobia threatens to engulf not just trans people but everybody who associates with them."

@JennaFights4You @ThomasWillett9 That's because anyone who supports/advocates for 'trans' issues is as mad as a box of frogs. You were doing OK for a few years with the whole 'no debate' mandate. Once you've had to try and justify men in women's prisons or in changing rooms everything starts to crumble.

@ThomasWillett9 I'm sure it's the same way over in the UK, but here in the US, trans people struggle to get an audience with lawmakers. They are more than happy to listen to our detractors, freely inviting them to events and to testify in courts. Meanwhile, they ignore trans voices.

@ThomasWillett9 I'm also not convinced that all the orgs are representing trans people properly. (If it's true that some overly zealous allies at Stonewall are responsible for the introduction of unchecked self ID in UK prisons, then that was a huge strategic and moral blunder.)

@Glinner If you're an already troubled person and then you mutilate yourself, can never go to the toilet normally again, make yourself undateable, be a laughing stock behind your back to everyone who knows...what is that going to do to your mental health?

It’s not true that the Trans Mission concert was empty last night, I reckon it was over 2/3 full, once it got started. The photographs you’ve seen are of the venue before it started. It was actually pretty packed. It doesn’t help, I think to give a false impression.

You are a miserable, misogynistic woman who is envious because trans women actually “want” to live as women and are joyful about their womanhood.. so you attack not just trans women but ALL women with your patriarchal nonsense
J.K. Rowling@jk_rowling

And it will forever be appalling to me that a bunch of celebrities with influence over young people used their platforms to amplify unevidenced claims for the benefit of transitioning minors while smearing those urging caution as bigots.

@LGBTQPrideUK @bindelj Laufey played Manchester's Coop Live a couple of nights ago. I've never heard of her. Sold out though. Had great reviews. People going to a concert/event does not mean that society as a whole now supports that group/cause.

@bindelj In summary, society is trans inclusive and supportive of trans people. TERFs, even with your mainstream promotion of your transphobia, your own columns in media like TERFgraph, can barely get 20 of you together You are over represented in media and still not supported like this
