Representatives from Denmark and Greenland have arrived at the White House to meet with Trump. Will the president agree to give Denmark some of Greenland's money if a deal is done? Trump named a special envoy to engage directly with Greenland, bypassing Denmark. Danish officials demanded involvement once it became clear any US acquisition would pay Greenlanders alone. Both Greenland & Denmark are now at the White House discussing next steps. Denmark forfeited any claim to compensation when it accepted Greenland’s right to independence, but now wants back in as real negotiations begin.

@NeilSkeffington @angiebeeb Switzerland has one of the lowest rates of home ownership in Europe. People rent often with 10 year leases or longer. Hardly a good comparison
