MVP says Triple H repeatedly ignored him and Bobby Lashley backstage, which ultimately led to both stars deciding to leave WWE.
“I don't like Triple H, I think he's a coward and a liar. There were multiple times I tried to talk to Triple H, and he would always say, ‘I’ll get with you in a little bit.’
“Bobby couldn’t get Triple H on the phone. Triple H wouldn’t give Bobby any one on one time. Bobby wanted to talk to Triple H about, ‘Hey, what’s my direction? What am I doing here?’ But Triple H always had something come up.
“So I told Bobby while we were sitting in catering, ‘Dog, I’m not going to re-sign. Don’t re-sign either. You, me, and Shelton should go to AEW. Let’s go.’
“I was in Bobby’s ear every week. ‘Bobby, let’s go, dog. Let’s get Shelton and head across the street.’ It finally got to the point where Bobby was like, ‘Yeah, you’re right. There’s no future here for us.’
“So my contract ran out. Bobby’s contract ran out. We chose not to re-sign. Contrary to what some people might say, that was our decision.”

@EliteClubS0B here's when Bobby said "I'm not HHH's guy, I'm vince Guy"
I mean HHH was literally booking Bobby to feud with Karrion Kross and AOP for 6 straight months 😭
Here we are again. Ohhhhhhhh mannnnnn, here we are again. Another year around the sun, impatienly waiting for time to roll around and arrive at the doorstep of the month of May. From there, it just becomes a ticking time bomb, waiting for midnight to hit on the night of the 24th, so we can finally reach 25. The 25th of May. Ahh man, it's become tradition at this point. It's the day of the Tribal Chief. The man who changed the industry forever. A man who has cemented himself on the mount rushmore of professional wrestling. A man who has inspired the way wrestling is written in all promotions, you see his touch, you feel his presence, you can smell his beautiful scent all over the screen.
There's not enough words in the dictionary to describe the work he's done. In a time of serious lows, the world was frozen with a pandemic, the product was in desperate need of help, he decided to take it upon himself to carry the weight of the industry and bring them up back to the spotlight, back to a product where we, the audience could seek our teeth into. He gave us the greatest world title reign of all time. 1,316 days of beauty, of excellence, given to us selflessly by the man who has become the heart of the business.
That night he lost the title broke me, as it seemed the entire world was cheering for the end of an era, there was those of us mourning, knowing what we had lost. The product became lackluster, lifeless. 2 years of struggle, with John Cena coming back at the right time to help cover the wound and bring in some light. But now he's gone, and the man who once helped boost the industry into the main spotlight was needed again to put it back at the top of the mountain, where he put it in the first place. WrestleMania 42 is special because of him, and all of us who mourned the heartbreak at Mania 40, could finally rejoice and celebrate because there's now hope in a company that has become more lifeless than it has ever been. We begged him to save us, he said okay and now he's OUR world heavyweight champion. A title that was the clear secondary belt became the most prestigious belt in ONE night because of whose shoulders it's now on. I can't even begin to express how grateful I am, that I've been able to watch this journey of one of the most special wrestlers of all time.
The Tribal Chief is undoubtedly the greatest character of all time, no wrestler in this business in its entire history has brought up and created as many main event superstars as he has, through his work, through his vision, we became witnesses of the greatest story ever told in a wrestling company. The Bloodline is special, and 6 years later, we still get to witness members in the main spotlight because of him. The word cinema has become a word in the wrestling world to describe something beautiful, and it all started because of him. He's my main connection to this business, he's the one that gets my heart going, the one who gets my body flowing, the one who makes me feel life, and knowing he has no plans to leave anytime soon has given me relief. It puts a smile on my face because I can't lose this man anytime soon, WE can't lose this man anytime soon. We've lost John Cena, and right now this business just cannot afford to lose this beautiful speciman who acquires the world's attention just off the way he looks.
Roman Reigns, thank you for everything, thank for you saving this business again and thank you for once again cementing your spot as the number one in this entire industry for as long as you decide to share yourself with us because we truly need you more than ever. THE World Champion, THE guy in this sport, and that throne shall remain yours till the day you walk off to the sunset, Chief. Those of us who appreciate your greatness will continue to give you your flowers. So, continue on the road to the glory days, Chief, we are right behind you settling in for the glorious ride.
Happy 41st Birthday to you, Roman Reigns. I love you. My Tribal Chief.
