I was playing scout team safety the first half of the season.. Dak and Andy dalton both got hurt in a 10 day window. Covid year so cowboys couldn’t bring in another QB. I started 7 days later on Sunday night football 🤣 thought I was prepared.. really didn’t have any idea what nfl was like until after that game

Trust me I’ll never forget that night either. You know how many guys would love to say they started an NFL game on SNF? I went from playing Richmond and Villanova to the Eagles on Sunday night football with no training camp , no preseason games , no practice reps for the first 8 weeks of the season. Was I thrown into a tough situation ? Sure Did I have the time of my life ? You bet
