Around 100 vessels carrying 1,000 activists are currently near Greece and expected off Gaza's coast by the weekend. Defense Minister Katz sanctioned flotilla campaign, which Israel says is organized by Hamas. Israeli security officials say they will not allow the blockade to be broken. In previous flotilla attempts, Shayetet 13 commandos boarded and seized the ships at sea.
