Pos. signs in recent #COVID19 case data, vaccines (hopefully) having an impact, and a meaningful # of Americans have been infected with #COVID19 at this point. This week @jack_m_meehan took a look at what this means for the testing market going forward. bit.ly/3bkyyYn

#COVID19 cases continue to drop faster than testing - a clear pos. for progression. 6th consec. week w/ a decline in the national pos. rate, after reaching a high of 13.3% for the week ended Jan. 6th. Weekly pos. rate has now fallen to its lowest level since late Oct. - TGIF.

Over last month, states that showed most improvement in daily hospitalizations also showed strong correlation to changes in total number of #COVID19 daily vaccines administered. Appears strongest for the top 10 states with hospitalization improvement, demonstrated by an R2=0.84

With #COVID19 vaccination timeline now at ~7 weeks & est. ~5 weeks to see some impact, we show case trends vs vaccinations for Israel and the UK (furthest along), juxtaposed against France (less so) - early for cause/effect, but case data improving with higher vaccination rates.
