I didn’t watch the NFL’s halftime show but I’ve seen the clips here. Just an absolute disgrace and a massive middle finger to the fans to have the entire show in Spanish. Football is an American sport. This is our culture. Our pastime. I was expecting a disgusting spectacle, but it looks even worse than I thought.

@AewDefender NOFX, Bad Religion, Rancid, The Vandals, even went deep into ska punk. The gateway to so much. Green Day will always be punk to me because even though they “sold out” and went radio friendly they still reject authority and embrace acceptance. Love those dudes.

When I was 11 or 12 years old, I begged mom to take me to get my first cassette tape. It was Green Day's Dookie. Girls at school called me Green Day because I was always wearing their shirts. 30 years later, they're one of the biggest bands in the world.
