For all my American friends here in the US, a stunning football grand final win back in Australia for my hometown team, the Brisbane Lions.
This is the Super Bowl for the Australian Football League - for our home-grown brand of football called Aussie Rules. And this is a back-to-back win now for 2024 and 2025.
They are legends. So please be patient with your Aussie co-workers over the next few days as they sleep it off.

@NerdsFooty@AmboRudd I live in the west, work in north and south Brisbane and no one is talking about the lions. It’s all Broncos.
Even the newspapers aren’t talking about the lions here. And more Brisbaners would’ve watched the broncos yesterday than the lions on Saturday - Sunday it’ll be double.
The Hawks and Lions flex their muscles, the Suns and Crows continue to impress and I’m sorry West Coast but Harley is gone.
