@British_Airways so i have had my daughter sobbing to me on the phone as her ski trip has been complete ruined . Almost the whole week now with no baggage , hardly anywhere to buy stuff , washing her clothes in the sink every night and hoping they dry and being freezing cold
English

@SimonCalder - awful service leaving school children without cases and no updates
English

@British_Airways is an utter disgrace who thinks it’s acceptable to leave my daughter and 9 others from her school without luggage whilst on a ski trip 3 days later ! she is staying in a tiny village so not easy to get replacements and so missing out !
English

@British_Airways Heard from other parents that the bags are in munich too , they are really stuck without them . Why does it take days to get couriered out ? Think how you would feel as a child away from their parents without their stuff . please act urgently
English

@British_Airways the bag arrived in munich last night so what do you mean by reflighted . She is in a tiny resort and cannot buy the ski stuff she needs so this isn’t really an option. Please expedite this as she and 9 other children are very upset. Thanks

@British_Airways Well not sure everything possible is being done when some that were on the same flight had theirs delivered . I am feeling very concerned these will not turn up at all!!
English

@NerysMutlow We do understand how upsetting this must be for her, and please pass on our sincere apologies. Our teams will do everything they can to get the bag to her as quickly as they possibly can. Neil

@British_Airways not much good when she is in a remote resort and crying to me as there is no where to buy any stuff apart from a mini market . Really ruining what should have been a great end of exam treat
English

@NerysMutlow We're sorry to hear this and I know the Airport teams will be doing their best to reunite everyone with their luggage as soon as possible. We'll also cover any additional expenses if any essential purchases need to be made because of this. Ste

@LBC @BenKentish we have nurses and teachers at our school! They were able to make it work, they may not be able to now with the vat addition
English

'Please stop this. This is the argument that makes my blood boil.'
@BenKentish loses patience with caller Mo whose kids attend private school, after she claims owning Range Rovers and holidaying abroad explains why 'a large majority' of parents can't afford to do the same.
English

@Lightningleaf11 @PhilipA98582559 @craigmrosie It’s actually common sense , every school that shuts down is a net loss to the treasury , every kid that takes a private school place effectively pays for it doesn’t use it and let’s face it pays the higher rate of tax already. Therefore more in state, less resources for all

My two children left private education because of this woman and Labour. Sept 24 we applied to the council to home educate as no schools in our area had places or were below par. I’ve heard nothing from the council since so as far as anyone is concerned right now my 11 and 13 year old have been lost from the system. The only benefit I can take them on holiday whenever I want! Nobody cares about them other than us! So don’t come telling me anything if you ever decide to find out how their education is going!

As the school year draws to a close, I want to say thank you to all of our incredible teachers, support staff, teaching assistants and school leaders. Your dedication to breaking the link between background and success for every child is at the heart of our Plan for Change.
English

@PhilipA98582559 @craigmrosie it’s been proven it’s actually costing the tax payer more now . The reality was by paying tax anyway and by then using private education you are actually helping. What next ? Tax health care as by using private health care you are doing the same thing?

@craigmrosie It’s great that private schools are now paying vat,and the money used on the vast majority of,good

I live in a small hamlet near Basingstoke . No facilities, no pavements and minimal public transit yet never ending building on beautiful and historic countryside . When the countryside is gone , it’s gone for ever. How do we protect it ? #cpre #protectcountryside #planning
English

@BritishHorse Shame that no drivers seem to pay attention. I am petrified riding on the roads with abuse and near misses . I report them all but just getting worse :(
English

@OllyMetcalfe @UKLabour Hang on! Looking for the tiniest violin I can find. Nope. Haven’t one small enough.

@vickyfoxcroft You're proud of #SchoolFeeVAT? When the harm to children, local economies, and schools becomes clearer—when state schools don’t improve, funds don’t materialise, and opportunities for children shrink—it'll be on you. Remember this moment and own it. #EducationNotTax
English

@PolitlcsUK @PropertyWeek More concreting over the countryside . Very sad. There are many empty properties and brownfield sites with existing infrastructure . Building on countryside should be the absolute last resort

@anaboultertv @bphillipsonMP @terrychristian @OllyMetcalfe @joenutt_author @MailOnline @SkyNews @DavidCrabbUK @KirstieMAllsopp @bbclaurak @LBC This is utterly disgusting. How can any human being refer to children like this? How long will it before someone unstable actually attacks a child at independent school?
English

You did this @bphillipsonMP and you @terrychristian - really? You honestly think that’s ok? It’s not. They are children. @OllyMetcalfe @sam_carling_ @joenutt_author @MailOnline @SkyNews @DavidCrabbUK @KirstieMAllsopp @bbclaurak @LBC
