@StarshineSimon Huuuuuge bummer on this. I absolutely would want you judging at an event like this. You've been hosting large weekly Altered tournaments of ~64 people, have judged Pokemon freakin' Worlds, and have been involved in the online Altered community (and were there all through GenCon).

First time I’ve gotten a staffing rejection email in a while 🥲 I figured my extensive Pokémon staff experience in demo and judging roles would give me a good shot at a PAX Unplugged position for Altered, but I guess not 🤷🏻‍♂️ GG, go next

You put a Tier 1 deck in my hands and I’ll have it figured out in a game or two maximum. I may not know every perfect line, but I’ll have the concepts and strategies to get myself 95% of the way there. That’s how I received the majority of my TCG success - building off of others.

I wish I was a better deckbuilder but my brain isn’t wired that way unfortunately. I’m good with coming up with overall concepts and strategies, but tuning a deck from 80% optimal to 99% optimal is such a struggle for me. However, I am excellent at piloting decks with little exp
