Mother Arrested After Two Texas Toddlers Found Drowned With Cocaine in Their Systems Authorities arrested 23-year-old Laura Nicholson in Florida after charging her in the deaths of her two daughters, ages 2 and 3, who were found drowned in Katy, Texas, in February. Demonstration footage showed the 500-kilogram machine walking upright, using its mechanical arms to smash through a brick wall, and then shifting into a quadruped form for rougher terrain. Unitree says the robot is part of a broader push into embodied AI and advanced mobility systems as Chinese robotics firms continue expanding rapidly in the humanoid sector. Company officials and outside analysts said the machine could eventually be useful in dangerous work environments, inspection tasks, rescue operations, and entertainment, though major challenges remain around battery life, maintenance, comfort, and everyday practicality.
