Vrabel and Russini - The Arizona Timeline
• Thursday, March 26th: Mike Vrabel may have flown into Phoenix Sky Harbor (PSH) the night before Arizona State University’s pro day in Tempe.
• Friday, March 27th, morning: Vrabel worked the ASU pro day in Tempe. He was there alongside head coaches John Harbaugh and Kevin Stefanski and executives from thirty-one NFL franchises. The pro day was stacked because the league meetings opened in Phoenix the following Monday.
• Friday, March 27th, afternoon: Vrabel may have driven two hours north to Sedona and checked into the Ambiente. The Ambiente is an adults-only boutique resort where private bungalows run up to $2,160 a night. The rooftops are accessible only from the bungalows themselves.
• Before Saturday morning: Dianna Russini may have already been at the Ambiente. Her camp says she was on a hiking trip with two female friends. No outlet has reported her check-in date.
• Saturday, March 28th, 10:30 AM: Vrabel and Russini had breakfast on the Ambiente’s patio.
• Saturday, March 28th, late morning: Vrabel and Russini spent roughly ninety minutes at the pool.
• Saturday, March 28th, afternoon: Vrabel and Russini sat together in the hot tub for about an hour.
• Saturday, March 28th, sunset: Vrabel and Russini were photographed hugging and holding hands on the private rooftop of one of the bungalows. A witness briefly saw them dance. Three separate eyewitnesses told Page Six they only ever saw the two without any other acquaintances.
• Sunday, March 29th: Vrabel and Russini may have checked out of the Ambiente and driven to Phoenix. The 2026 NFL Annual League Meeting opened that day at the Arizona Biltmore. Vrabel was there as the Patriots’ head coach, and Russini was there covering the meetings for The Athletic.
• Sunday, March 29th: Vrabel and Russini may have checked into the Arizona Biltmore and/or one of the surrounding hotels ahead of the league meetings.
• Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday: Vrabel and Russini were working at the Biltmore all three days.
• Monday, March 30th: The Chicago Bulls waived Jaden Ivey for “conduct detrimental to the team” after he called the NBA’s Pride Month a celebration of “unrighteousness.” New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson, a devout Christian, reposted the Ivey video with Matthew 5:10. The news was widely discussed and shared on X.
• Tuesday, March 31st: ESPN’s Mike Reiss asked Vrabel about Henderson’s post at his Biltmore media availability. Vrabel said there was a “fine line” and that players needed to be “educated.” He also said the Patriots wanted to be “inclusive” and that players represent the team and the organization.
• Wednesday, April 1st: The league meetings closed; Vrabel and Russini may have checked out of the Arizona Biltmore and/or one of the surrounding hotels.
• Thursday, April 2nd: Russini co-bylined a dispatch for The Athletic about what she learned at the Biltmore meetings, and she mentioned Vrabel in the second paragraph.
