Our new preprint is now online! Bengi (@bengiruken)-Kaan (@KaanariciM)-Cansu (@hcansud) worked together to show that networks of neurodevelopmental disorders and cancer can have shared mutations, proteins, and pathways differing in mechanisms, signaling strength, and outcomes.

Cancer latent drivers can additively intensify the signal when coupled with other activating mutations. They have low frequency and escape idenfication. In this study, we explored the potential impact of “latent drivers” on cancer progression and cataloged 155 latent drivers.
