Any level of basketball, if you are surrounded by a good group of players you will have a much higher chance of performing well. Playing for the Knicks as opposed to the Nets would benefit all of the Nets rookies when viewing their production and efficiency on the floor. Vise versa it would likely harm Diawara in the same lens if he suited up for Brooklyn I’m not impressed with the Nets draft but it’s too early to make judgements, they didn’t have high draft picks & did something never done before taking 5 rookies all playing significant roles…if they get 2-3 good long term NBA players it’s a succesful draft imo. Demin has star upside clearly imo but I don’t think he has the mental makeup of a star player. He lacks the on ball aggression on offense to be a true star, think of a player like Mike Conley

There’s no expectation for the Nets rookies. They are getting to play a lot of minutes in games that aren’t close + games that don’t mean anything. Sure Mo is learning more around the guys he’s with but he’s playing over proven NBA veterans (Clarkson has a 6th man) and playing really efficient ball. The Nets had so much draft capital and their 25 class is pretty unimpressive imo. Traore is good and will be a good NBA player but none of the guys from this year have star upside whatsoever.

@Loom2424 @NetsProphet @Nets_Frequent + Mo has to earn every minute he plays. We have guys like Clarkson and Sochan who are not playing at all rn who could easily take his minutes if he wasn’t preforming. He has to prove in 3-4 min spurts of play that he belongs. That’s really tough
