People get on the Nets for being flooded with Knicks fans at Barclays Center — which is about 7 miles away from MSG and within the same market. Knicks fans have flooded road arenas in Philadelphia and Cleveland in the playoffs. Their fanbase is huge and when the team is contending, it’s another level. No shame for the Nets.

@NetsDaily Why? Besides current valuation. If the area was anywhere near a city with public transportation like msg they would sell out just as much as the Knicks. The Knicks are New York’s team. They’ll never have the shared Mets Yankees jets giants relationship

There is no dumber debate than talking about New Jersey return. None.

@Ian_M_Stone Traore I am somewhat reluctant to give up. Clowney id give him up. I’d prefer to include Claxton, Mann & whatever other players they want not including last years rookies

@NetsProphet I think moving Traore or Clowney right now would be a mistake. Both have shown flashes, and could be solid pieces as the team looks to turn the corner.

@NetsProphet I would rather trade nic claxton and Terrence Mann, but if it got ja here I’ll take it, shit let’s make it even sweeter and send them the 6th pick and a future first for that 3rd pick and ja lol

As of right now, my top pick at 6th overall based upon the players projected to be available = Mikel Brown Jr. Incredible offensive potential due to his positional size, shot creation, pace, and versatility. But at the end of the day, the only persons opinion that matters is GM Sean Marks.

@RobertJamis I don’t see the similarities to Jordan Poole lol but 2nd part is certainly possible…could say this for a ton of players coming into each draft & ends up being case for a bunch too

When he gets to the NBA he'll stop looking like a high flying version of Jordan Poole. He'll just learn how to make shots at bare minimum league average levels. Because that always happens.

@Os91413Jon I’d like that too but I think he’s gonna go before the Nets get up to pick at 6

How do we feel about Brayden Burries? Has recently been projected anywhere from No. 6 to the mid teens in various mocks. Strong 6’4 frame, two-way upside, 39% from 3, and plays a winning style that scouts love. Comparisons have been made to Derrick White/Jrue Holiday type impact guards make him one of the more interesting risers in this class Led his team in scoring as a freshman while solidifying himself as the emotional leader of an Arizona team that made a Final Four run

Nets fans should get familiar with Karim Lopez. 6’9, strong frame, real shot creation flashes, already playing against grown men overseas, and has legit two-way upside. That archetype is way harder to find than another small scoring guard. And before people get mad — the 6’2 guards can hoop. The problem is if they’re not defending at a high level, your margin for error becomes tiny in playoff basketball. Sean Marks has always chased size + upside on the wing. Lopez feels exactly like the kind of swing Brooklyn would take at 6th overall

@Os91413Jon I’m not saying I want Lopez, just saying there’s a good chance he’s our guy based on what I hear….Personally, I’d also prefer the other guard options and trading into the late lottery to try to get a wing

@NetsProphet Bro if you want to trade up for a second first to draft Lopez I might understand it but at SIX 😨??? Nah 😂 🧐. Acuff and Brown have more potential especially Acuff to unlock our team's offense 🧐.....
