should I play FF7 Remake now that I’ve played the original FF7 and everything within the compilation? 🤔 It’s been a good 4 years since I’ve played Remake, and I feel like I’ve missed out on a lot of things concerning the “new” story. If so, Should I stream it or play offscreen?

@_SpyDtroid_ This is exactly how I feel about dirge, it just doesn’t feel like a ff7 game. There are familiar faces and familiar locations, but the way the game is they all feel like they’re not a part of ff7. Especially the new characters, I just don’t care for them or their stories.

I tried my best to like it and see the good in it but I just can’t. I don’t think it’s a bad game, but I don’t think it’s too good either. Just painfully mid/average.
Story, gameplay and design is really disappointing 💔

One small problem I do have with Advent Children is how Reno and Rude are portrayed. Personally, I think they are genuinely hilarious y’know? there wasn’t a moment where I didn’t laugh when I saw them. BUT, I don’t like the fact that I can’t entirely take them serious anymore 💔

But then Zygarde got shoehorned in to Sun and Moon as an optional side quest??? That never sat right with me

@_SpyDtroid_ For a 2001 movie its genuinely beautiful, like I'm so serious the CGI tech was so impressive at the time even hardcore Hollywood critics were praising it.
And the voice acting feels like something out of the early 2000s too

Square released the CC remaster before Rebirth for that purpose, after all

When I first played FF7 Remake and Rebirth, I never quite understood the significance of this moment. I didn’t fully understand Zack and what he went through, but having played Crisis Core and OG FF7, this reunion is fucking insane.
I might have to replay the remakes…
