Henry flopped at Juventus, was average at Barcelona, struggled for France.

The teams I’ve mentioned done exactly what arsenal did yet they never speak about it because they have won multi ucl, ballon dor winners, dominate their league in different generations, all time great players and managers. The most accurate an xG table has been in the PL in terms of teams being in the same place in xG table and real life table after 38 games is 6/20.
It’s never had 7 or more in the “correct” spot.
It’s a good stat when used with others. Meaningless on its own.
