@Had2Explain

Started blocking anyone that uses net spend for an argument pretending wages aren’t a bigger expense than transfer fees.

@mehulg10 I understand you’re an Indian City “fan” that only learned about football in 2020, but the point you seem to be missing is that they went unbeaten AND won the Premier League. Invincible season and Chelsea 15 goals conceded are the hardest records to break.

Manchester City have won the League Cup, they've won the FA Cup, they've lost one domestic game in the last 34 & are 2nd in the Title race after buying 2 of the Premier League's best players to add to their multi-million squad.. But it's the weakest ever Man City team apparently

@Had2Explain @GarySmithJnr You’re correct but the point about it being meaningless on its own can be said about every stat when analysing a football game.

@CFCRobL I don’t know about sour grapes but I will call it ironic that a Chelsea fan is talking about watching less football because it’s soulless despite their soulless club only being relevant at the top because of bending and breaking rules implemented to introduce fairness.

Call it sour grapes all you like but today is an example of why I watch less and less football - you've a system implemented that's sole purpose is to introduce fairness and instead it's just used for narrative or on weekly whims. Feels far more unjust and soulless than pre-VAR

@martinbrennan67 @2022BenjiC Hundreds of cameras, no video evidence of referee blowing his whistle. Weird that. It’s not detective work watching your own manager admit that he was told there was a minute to play. But I can see why it’s hard to understand, being that you’re a retard. Carry on.

@Druss291 @JoePatrick Because there shouldn’t be that level of fuck up by VAR. You can accept human error when a ref makes a mistake, when you’ve got another 1 slowing it down and looking at it from every angle and still getting it wrong, that’s a problem. VAR isn’t the issue. Shit refs are.

@JoePatrick I agree. Used to be a ref messed up and in the pub and next day in the pub, fans would moan about it. Now any feck up by VAR and its talked about for weeks.

Yes, in soccer, I actually would trade occasional incorrect calls for no VAR. This is how we all watched and experienced the sport roughly a handful of years ago. We all lived, and some of us enjoyed it even more back then. Why? Because the spontaneity is soccer’s magic.
