They only stopped paying off the loans in 2020. Look at them now. A few profitable (PSR wise) summers is exactly what Villa and Newcastle need.

@ToonTakeover_ @premierleague Tielemans had a release clause, that they agreed to. Rogers is going for absolutely absurd money given his level. I’m sure they’ll be gutted that they didn’t get more for Tielemans but £150m for the 2 of them combined is genuinely fantastic business and relieves PSR issues.

@snoopshoops @AnthonyRJoseph I think the more concerning point is that the level of player that was decent/good for Celtic is the level of player capable of being signed by a Turkish 2nd tier side. Regardless of age/injury status, that’s not a good look for the SPL.

@noobbricks @CGKnowsBall People have asked questions of all those players (barring Yamal, because Spain didn’t lose), it’s not unique to Kane. Kane is great when there’s less pressure. Group stages, early rounds of knockouts. His record in semi finals and finals is appalling, for club and country.
