Viktor Gyokeres scored a great hatrick for his country tonight and it’s triggered lots of comments on here that Arteta’s tactics are a “problem” and we’re not playing to Gyokeres’s strengths. Haaland has 22 goals and his team are 9 points adrift in 2nd place. Gyokeres has 10 and we’re top the league. I don’t see where the “problem” is.

@McHighbury I say this as someone that would rather see Arsenal win the league than the sports washing machine that is Man City. This is the worst iteration of Arsenal under Arteta in the last 4 years. By a distance.

@PatrickTimmons1 This, unironically is kind of the problem with the mentality Arteta is building at your club. “Don’t lose” not “must win”. 4 losses. 1 is a final. In the league 3 losses 7 draws, you’d have more points if you turned 2 draws into wins and 2 into losses by going for it.

50 games this season. Only 4 defeats. Stick with the boys. They’ve earned it. Plenty of football still to be played.

@DeanoM359 @SweezzyAV They’re pushing the problem down the line each season. Spend £200m, book it as £40m/year for the next 5 years. Sell players to cover that cost each year. Problem being they still owe so much from previous windows and are signing worse so less resale value.

@SweezzyAV In fairness they “probably didnt” break PSR rules under Abramovich. So the £4-20p fine must be fair! But how can they continually spend £3-£400m every window & continue to stockpile players? Can only loan 6 players (over 21) so what happens to the ones that don’t make the squad?

These guys have just been found guilty of breaching the Premier League PSR rules, and are still gonna be able to spunk 100-200m+ in the summer, yet certain ‘fanbases’ on here wanna tell me teams like Villa are the problem and that the Prem isn’t so obviously corrupt

@SweezzyAV Nothing to do with PSR, it’s old FFP model under old ownership. They’ve also not been punished for all the charges yet, just the handful of self reported ones, which is why that punishment has been dished out separately and is on the lighter side.
