This summer we hosted 5 residency projects bringing together artists and researchers as part of the "Co-creating with Art and AI Residency Program" I am excited to see the exhibition of projects, join us Sep 14th - admission is free but requires a ticket: eventbrite.com/e/co-creating-… Projects explored the ethical use of AI and creative applications, incl. questions like: How can we assert agency in designing spaces and practices where creative processes, AI thinking, and human-centered design are supported and can coexist? As we increasingly use machines to tell our human stories and shape our human imagination, what are the imaginaries we want to build around artificial intelligence? This work is supported by @mila_quebec, the #IndigenousAI research program Abundant Intelligences, @GoogleDeepMind, and @CIFAR_News To find out more, check out cocreating.art

Let's rename "short-term plasticity"->"synapse dynamics", and "long-term plasticity"->"synaptic plasticity"! To me plasticity implies perturbing the resting state (moulding). SD by contrast is elastic, and the resting state unchanged. @ClopathLab @hisspikeness @compneuro_epfl

@pgmid Always enjoy your podcasts. This time, however, at the 1:33:35 mark, I find a glaring error that I cannot sit with. I must out it! It's the fracture point of the entire AI edifice. WRONG! There. That feels better 😊... Let me explain. Here's the dialogue: .../2
