With a broken heart I write this message to everyone that sadly my best friend @symstar and our good friend Austen sadly passed away late last night in a car accident. Tyler was celebrating his 21st birthday trip. I know he brought laughs and smiles to a lot of people and If any you have a nice memory or interaction with him please feel free to share it. Might be time to make some YT content on ult econ management/pip allocation again. In my costream: "it's weird Nats lurks here and doesn't go with the pack to plant and Pit post." He then proceeds to not ult until round 11 sending >7 ult pips< into the void... TL also didn't take the A Main orb despite having consolidated A-Main control on 5 separate rounds... Without even looking at plant allocations/other players leaving an ult and a half on the table is wild especially in a comp w/ such a great ult funnel target in KAY/O.

@AnderzzTV I think this is just where we agree to disagree. It might not have been intended initially, but jumping around and outplaying your opponent has become important to why people play her. Removing that completely alienates a lot of her playerbase, its just way too late to change now

Ah, see I'd argue that being able to jump around *isn't* core to her identity. In fact at no point should it have been and it was a mistake to include that in the agent from the beginning - none of her cinematics have her jumping, her "Flash"-esque power fantasy is about sprinting not jumping around. Her current state is a failure to maintain a refined vision for her design. Having sprint for faster scaling, sprint jiggle peeking, slide for entry would all keep the core elements of her fantasy very intact, we'd just be removing the arbitrarily added movement creep that ended up coming with it. I think removing the jump *is* the middle ground.

If the rumour mill is to be believed, what are we expecting for the Neon nerf and when do we think it comes? The one I've floated, even long before her resurgence, was that jumping should cancel her out of sprint. It would not only help with mobility/movement creep issues, it's also just more intuitive/realistic

@AnderzzTV I think her being able to jump around and be unshootable shouldn't be as strong as it is now, but the movement its a core part of her character and you shouldn't just reduce Neon to a rotate bot. I think there's a way to find a healthy middle ground by making it a trade-off

This doesn't address any of the movement creep issues. Her skill expression manifests in using the slide effectively as an entry tool and getting value out of her rotational acceleration. Having a widely available movement mechanic that allows you to hop around for pseudo-untradeability isn't skill expressive.

@JTayy_ I agree, while I like the idea of the agent supporting someone with a bunch of util, it just feels like they based the kit around two really weak buffs, healing and stims are just not strong enough to make this agent good imo. Especially when his competition is Paranoia

I'll be very happy to be proven wrong, but Miks feels kind of like the inverse clove The support fantasy is definitely a big niche in the casual playerbase, but I think the abilities are a little too weak to measurably help actual frag potential at the top level

Years ago half the country would argue the second amendment was there to protect yourself from a tyrannical government, now those same people are somehow justifying federal agents using lethal force and inciting violence against communities from the opposite political party. Truly do you think that random illegal immigrant in your town is worth murdering people to detain? Are your problems in life really caused by some random guy from another country? How delusional do you have to be to believe that and not see all of this as completely outrageous. If you are going to argue anything about them being a criminal we literally have a criminal in office. We have plenty of criminals to go after that have done terrible things yet somehow we are not going door to door looking for them with guns in the faces of citizens. This political climate is absolutely insane right now and there is nobody more to blame than the president of this country who at every opportunity says something absolutely vile including mocking the death of someone who was murdered by their own kids just because he opposed him politically, he has made official statements over and over again that are completely false and spin a false narrative, if everything these officers did is so legal what is the point in lying and exaggerating for example saying "Based on the attached clip, it is hard to believe he is alive, but is now recovering in the hospital." after the ice related shooting of the woman a couple weeks ago. The car literally barely touched the guy so I ask you why would he change the story? What is the motive there. People like him have ulterior motives behind the specific languages used to speak to millions of supporters. Is is manipulative to immediately control the narrative, rally your troops and even supply your supporters with rebuttals like bringing up paid protesting & disruptive actions to law enforcement activity. Neither of these things are at all relevant when it comes to the death of Renee Nicole Good. But once again ask yourself why he would even bring that up. Ask yourself why he does not start his address to the country with remorse like "Unfortunately today our ice agents were conducting an investigation and during that investigation a car was used as a weapon resulting in our officers defending themselves. This is a tragedy and nobody deserves to die protesting something they do not believe in, our officers actions are under investigation to ensure the actions were lawful and reasonable" this would be the tone and formality someone who wants to calm the political climate would use. But he understand that his supporters are radical and anything other than justification or even insults to the woman would be seen as weak and a "loss". Be so serious and ask yourself if you truly cannot see the deceptions and manipulation that makes people believe any of this is reasonable.
