I hate when you genuinely love someone and instead of talking things out they just go cold on you because theyโre upset.
My colleague has been off since Tuesday, not her usual self at all so I asked what was going onโฆ
Thatโs when she told me her partner hasnโt been answering her calls or agreeing to see her ever since he found out she secretly bought land without telling him.
And the craziest part? He didnโt even hear it from her.
He found out through her younger brother (they live together). He called looking for her, couldnโt reach her, and the brother casually mentioned she was on site and the network there is kind of bad ๐ฉ
He confronted her, she admitted itโฆ he ended the call, and that was it.
Since then? Silence.
Calls, messagesโฆ nothing.
And honestly, I get being upset, but completely shutting someone out like that? Thatโs harsh.
Why are some men so dramatic?

My colleague doesnโt touch her salary because her man covers all her bills and gives her a monthly allowance. She just bought a land secretly and is about to start building with her money + his allowance. Not touching her salary, living on allowance, and now building with both streams of money? Love that for her.

When I was in Nigeria, I never missed my monthly tithe.
When I got to the UK, I sent tithe to my home church about twice, then stopped.
My mom called me about not sending tithe to the home church anymore.
I told her we donโt pay tithe in the UK, and even offering isnโt compulsory.
I also told her we eat every Sunday, and thereโs a place you can pick up free food if you donโt have any at home.
All the tithe we paid in church in Nigeria where did it go? There was never a time we had food for the poor or a room where food was kept.
Isnโt that the essence of tithe?
Her response was: โYou are backsliding.โ ๐
