A junior said "Good morning" to me in the elevator. I checked my watch. It was 11:00 AM. I looked at him. "It's almost lunch," I said. "You're three hours late to the concept of morning." He tried to explain he'd been at his desk since 7. I interrupted and told him accuracy matters more than intent. I emailed his reviewer suggesting he take a CLE on time management. He apologized later. I didn't reply. I forwarded the apology to HR as proof of his inefficiency. Greetings are risky. He learned an important lesson. Never speak to a partner in the elevator. Unless spoken to.

NEW: The DOJ has filed a motion to block the appointment of an independent monitor to release the Epstein files in the Ghislaine Maxwell case. The DOJ argues that federal courts lack the authority to enforce the Epstein Transparency Act and that Reps. Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie don’t have standing to recommend an independent monitor. In short, it appears the DOJ’s position is that no court can force them to produce the files.

This claim is misinformation. Parole, work permits, and SSNs do not give non-citizens the right to vote — federal law still limits voting to U.S. citizens. I support strong border control, but this kind of rhetoric is inflammatory and misleading, not evidence of a real conspiracy.

@ItsTheEnforcer NATO can't even secure the air space above its member state's bases, they're not ready for a war, even against a greatly weakened Russia. In 5 years maybe, but now it'd just be so much more havoc than they'd be able to handle.

I’m hearing reports that NATO is discussing the possibility of a preemptive strike against Russia if the situation deteriorates any further. I’ll be honest, I find it somewhat difficult to believe — but that’s what I’m hearing.

I’m saying that people who dress as Nazis are right leaning. It’s a very different argument than “people on the right are Nazis”.

This is known as an association fallacy. If a small group of people within a larger group are guilty of some offensive belief or action, the entire group is guilty of the same. The left, on a very large scale, celebrated or welcomed the murder of Charlie Kirk very publicly. You will not find a large scale of people on the right promoting nazi ideologies. You simply will not. I've met people in real life who have made nasty comments about Kirk's death. However, I've never met a neo-nazi or white supremacist in my life...and I was born & raised and lived the majority of my life in Alabama. As a black woman.
