580 (S 3) put ratio spreads that were used as a hedge - contributed 7% to the portfolio over the past month! Replaced with $610 (B 1) – $568 (S 3) spreads for April.
Started a position in $STAA and increased it to 10% of the portfolio. I believe it will be sold within the next two years for well north of the $30 per share recently offered by $ALC, which was rejected.
New position: $BABA 5% at 125
New position: $NVDA 5% at 178
Small increase in position: $MDWD

@vermaden For me it's OpenBSD on my Internet facing machines (relax, opensmtp, pf), FreeBSD as my internal workhorse (bhyve/jails, fileserver, backup-server). Really like OpenBSD for its simplicity.

Today was reported that Eli Glickman and several other senior executives have been selling their $ZIM shares between $28 and $29. If they truly believed the company was going to be sold within the next 12 months for $35, it’s hard to understand why they would sell at these levels.
I’ve warned before that the probability of this deal actually happening may not be high, especially given everything happening right now with Iran and the broader psychology in the country. Politically and symbolically, the Israeli government may find it difficult to approve the sale of $ZIM to any foreign entity in the current environment.
Interestingly, Israeli newspapers are now starting to report that the deal might not go through, which reinforces the doubts I already had.

$ZIM: 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗿𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘀𝗸 I recommended selling $ZIM shares at around $29 after previously recommending buying them at $13.6 (see below), despite the $35 per share bid from Hapag-Lloyd. In my view, this has become a very dangerous merger arbitrage situation. After a war with Iran, it would look extremely bad politically if $ZIM were sold - even if the buyer of part of the fleet is an Israeli company. There is a real risk the deal does not go through. It also appears the CEO may be starting to sell a big part of his position, which is not a great signal. If the buyout falls apart, I believe $ZIM could trade below $20.
