The way Nigerians experience network issues is starting to change.
With #TinubuGains, the telecom sector is becoming more stable, and operators are now more accountable when problems occur. Under President Tinubu @officialABAT, reforms are driving better service delivery and improved communication with users.
Before, outages often came with silence.
Now, there is more openness.
Through uptime.com/statuspage/ncc, people can track reported faults and see estimated fix times, making the process more transparent.
It’s a gradual but visible improvement.

Operators are now getting clearer direction, better financial support, and improved tools to work with.
Under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT, reforms are also tightening focus on transparency, accountability, and securing critical infrastructure.
At the centre of #TinubuGains is a simple outcome, stronger networks, better service, and a more connected Nigeria.

In addition, over 20 companies have now crossed the N1trillion market capitalization since the advent of the Renewed Hope administration.
This significant growth represents a shift from the days when only 5-6 companies occupied this esteemed position.

Since 2023 when President Tinubu took over the affairs of the country, Nigeria’s stock market capitalization has risen drastically from N27trillion to over N100trillion. A development made possible by the economic reforms of his administration.

As Nigeria's Minister of Foreign Affairs, these were Ambassador @YusufTuggar biggest wins in my view.
1. Navigating US-Nigeria Relations: At a time of shifting global alliances and significant pressure points, Tuggar managed one of Nigeria's most consequential bilateral relationships with rare steadiness. He kept the channels open, the tone measured, and Nigeria's interests firmly on the table, no small feat in a volatile diplomatic climate.
2. Hosting the West African Economic Summit 2025 (WAES): Under his watch, Nigeria reasserted its role as the natural convener of West African affairs. WAES wasn't just a conference, it was a statement of intent: that Nigeria is ready to lead the regional conversation on trade, investment, and shared prosperity.
3. Standing Firm Across Multiple Fronts: Whether in engagements with ECOWAS neighbours, the United Kingdom, Turkey, or China, Tuggar projected a version of Nigerian diplomacy that was assertive without being abrasive. He understood that Nigeria's size and strategic weight must translate into leverage, and he used it.
4. Implementing the 4D-Doctrine: His signature foreign policy framework, built around Democracy, Development, Demography, and Diaspora, gave Nigeria's diplomatic posture a coherent ideological spine for the first time in years. It shaped how his ministry engaged with partners across the globe, and Nigeria has been better for this.
These are my top picks. Did I miss any? Drop your thoughts in the comments 👇🏾

Let me say it the way it should be said.
After listening to Atiku Abubakar, one thing should be very clear to anybody who understands politics beyond social media noise.
Who advised Peter Obi to make that move?
Because this is not how serious politics is played.
You don’t leave a party where you are the undisputed face, where the structure bends around you, where your name is the engine, and then you walk into another arrangement where you now have to start negotiating relevance again.
For what exactly?
Hope?
Sentiment?
Public sympathy?
Politics does not reward that kind of thinking.
If there is no hard agreement that he becomes the flag bearer under the African Democratic Congress, then let us stop pretending. That move is a blunder.
A complete misreading of how power works.
Because the people you are meeting there are not your fans. They are politicians. They have their own ambitions. Their own calculations. Their own plans.
Nobody is waiting to hand over anything to anybody.
So again, I ask, and I want a clear answer, not emotional defense:
Was there a deal?
Because if there is no deal, then what we are looking at is not strategy.
It is political carelessness.
And in this game, carelessness is punished mercilessly.

Alleged N33.8b Fraud: Mamman Fails to File Final Written Address
Proceedings were stalled in the trial of the former Minister of Power, Saleh Mamman on Thursday, April 16, 2026 as he could not file his final written address before Justice James Omotosho of the Federal High Court, Maitama, Abuja.
Mamman is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC on a 12-count charge, bordering on money laundering to the tune of N33,804,830,503.73 (Thirty-three Billion, Eight Hundred and Four Million, Eight Hundred and Thirty Thousand, Five Hundred and Three Naira, Seventy-three Kobo).
At Thursday’s proceeding which was for adoption of final written addresses, Mamman through his counsel Femi Atteh, SAN, acknowledged the receipt of the final written address of the prosecution but drew the court’s attention to his motion filed on April 1, 2026 seeking for extension of time to enable him file his own final written address. With no objection from the prosecution counsel, Rotimi Oyedepo, SAN, the court obliged him.
Justice Omotosho adjourned the matter till April 23, 2026 for adoption of final written addresses.
