@NematodeGuy I love hand recorded notes and all my data is both handwritten and backed up! That way if I ever make a mistake and enter data in incorrectly, I can go back and cross check! Plus the fear of accidentally deleting something. I don’t know how folks don’t do both. 😅

My young colleagues think it is weird that I keep hand recorded data in file cabinets. When Skynet takes over, we will see who's laughing then!

@JoeStGeorge Hi Joe, thank you. There’s thousands of people like me that lost their jobs overnight spread all over the nation. I was not a remote worker, many of us were in labs around the US working for multi decade long programs that could get shuttered overnight as a result of lay offs.

@weintraub_ross My father was a high school teacher and I know how difficult and rewarding it can be. Thank you for your time teaching, I’m sure you changed lives and were a lot of peoples role model. I was a TA during graduate school and loved it. Thank you for the suggestion, I appreciate it.

@NewDarling Teaching is the hardest thing I have ever done. There is a desperate need for science teachers throughout the US. It is difficult and under appreciated, but those moments when you connect and a student’s lightbulb shines are unforgettable.
